Latest Governement update
10th May 2020
Dear Parents,
I hope you and your families remain safe and well during these uncertain and difficult times.
You may be aware of the latest announcement made by the Government and as previously promised
we wanted to communicate with you and share our reaction as changes occur. More detail is due to
follow tomorrow and we will be building a revised plan based on receipt of this new information.
Please also be assured that our priority is the safety and wellbeing of all staff and children.
Whatever steps we need to take we will take them together.
Our intention is to provide outstanding nursery care to all our children. To help us do this we would
like to understand any potential change in your circumstances following tomorrows more detailed
announcement. This will then allow us to phase a reopening plan to accommodate all children as they
return to the nursery.
We anticipate that based on the ‘exit plan’ proving successful that greater need will be required from
the 1st June. We need to make sure our staff are ready for this but remain flexible should these
guidelines change. We also understand that demand is likely to increase from this week and we will
do everything we can to accommodate this. This will be completed whilst making the best decisions
for returning children and staff. Again, we ask for open communication and understanding during this
phase.
Please can you contact your Nursery Manager, preferably by email (as the phones may be busy and
we will call you back as soon as possible), as soon as you know what your requirements are. In the
meantime (subject to tomorrows detailed information) we will do our best to be ready for providing
the service you require.
We thank you for your continued support during these uncertain times, ensuring that we are in the
best position to support you, the children and the staff within our Nurseries.
Best wishes
Andy Morris
Chairman, Little Garden Day Nurseries
